Behind the Scenes: Quiet Rituals, Deep Listening

Most of my work happens before a client even arrives.

There’s the practical part - preparing the space, choosing oils, tuning instruments if we’re working with sound. But there’s also a quiet, unseen part. I take time to sit with each name, each intention, and feel into what’s needed. No two sessions are the same. They can’t be.

Sometimes I’ll blend a tea or an oil before we begin. Sometimes I wait until after, when the session has spoken for itself. There are small rituals I follow, nothing showy, but deeply felt.

And when the session is over, I don’t just pack everything away and move on. I sit with it. Reflect. Clear the space. Give thanks.

And the work doesn’t end when the session ends. I go home to research, write up notes, prepare bespoke herbal blends and specific plans to support what came up in the session - physically, emotionally, or energetically.

The care continues, even when no one sees it…
