REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a gentle, time-honoured therapy with roots tracing back over 5,000 years. It played a significant role in Ayurveda — the ancient Indian holistic system still widely practiced today — as well as in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and was known in ancient Egypt, across Africa, and among Native American tribes.

This practice is based on the principle that our feet mirror the entire body and reflect our overall state of wellbeing. Thousands of reflex points on the feet are believed to correspond to different body systems, organs, and tissues. Reflexology embraces the concept of wholeness — recognising the body as an interconnected whole rather than a collection of separate parts.

A reflexologist uses gentle pressure, stimulation, and massage techniques on these reflex points to help restore balance and support the body’s natural capacity for self-regulation. It is a non-invasive therapy that encourages your innate healing processes, promoting optimal wellbeing.

A typical session lasts about an hour and offers many potential benefits: it can help improve blood and lymph circulation, boost energy levels, promote deep relaxation, reduce stress and tension, strengthen the immune system, and much more.

Reflexology and Indian Head Massage together help cultivate balance and
harmony. A balanced body and mind create the foundation for growth, happiness, and a meaningful, fulfilling life.

Your first session includes a brief consultation to discuss any possible
contraindications and understand your preferences, ensuring a safe and tailored experience.
